Pest Resistance
Till date, no data are available on pest resistance due to
applications of neem derivatives and it is unlikely in future too.
Vollimper [1987] confirmed this in respect of kernel extract by which
fecundity of Plutella Xyllostella adults of untreated larvae. Care
should, however be taken to use neem preparations with other
insecticides alternately to restrict the possibilities of resistance in
major and poly phagus pests.
