Also the untidy hair, less maintenance of hair, contact with person suffering from lice problem etc. Also the people who take lots of stress and suffer from dandruff can have the frequent lice problem.

Neem for Lice Treatment

• Use undiluted neem oil on the head for lice treatment. To proceed with neem for lice, saturate your head with just pure neem oil or you can make the solution of 4 parts neem oil, 1 part tree oil solution and 2 tbs olive oil. Massage your head with this oil. Leave the oil for an hour or more and then wash it with neem shampoo.
• Use neem shampoo for lice treatment. For more effect, wash hair with 20-30 ml of neem shampoo. Keep the shampoo in hair for at least 10 minutes. Wash your head. Do this on every wash. Main constituent of head lice shampoo is the neem seed extract.
• You can also wash the bedding and cloth in neem containing detergent.
• Take 100 ,l of coconut oil and dip four to five neem leaves in it. Keep it covered so that neem essence fully goes into the coconut oil. Massage this on the scalp. Comb your hair with close teeth comb. This will remove the dead lice and nits.

Lice Home Remedies - Lice Treatment for Children

• Wash the lice infested head with vinegar as this is one of the best lice home remedies. With vinegar all the lice nits can be killed in just two days.
• After shampooing massage your head with coconut oil.
• Add two to three drops of tea tree oil in shampoo and wash your head with this.
• Make the mixture of lemon and butter. Apply this mixture on head and keep this for 15 minutes. Wash your head after this.
• Extract onion juice in a bowl. Apply this onion juice thoroughly on your head. Keep it for 4-5 hours and then wash your head. Repeat this for at least three days. This will kill the lice and nits. This is a very useful lice home remedy.
• Mayonnaise and vaseline are considered very beneficial lice home remedies. Apply these on the head to make it smoother. Keep this over night by wearing shower cap. Wash you head next day. But is quiet messy and for some may not work.
• Make the powder of custard apple and store it is a container. Apply this on scalp and tie your head with some cloth bandage. Do not make the bandage very tight. Next morning wash the head. Repeat the process for 3 days.
• Take six tbs of water and two tbs of vinegar. Mix the solution and take cotton wad. Dip this in solution and apply the solution on the head thoroughly. Work more closely at roots. Repeat the process twice in a week.
